Heathrow to oxford street

Hi folks
I'm flying down to london in december to do some christmas shopping and I was looking for the best way to get to oxford street (tiffanys)?

The cheapest way is with national express but I have no idea how to get there from the bus station, can anyone help?

Many thanks!

Easiest will probably be by tube. Get yourself an oyster card from transport for london and stick some prepay on it. You should be able to travel around all day on bus tube and train for about 6 quid

tube from heathrow to Green Park, then victoria line to Oxford circus ;)
:dance:There's a real buzz about the neighbourhood

Use the tube, Picadilly line to Picadilly circus, then walk up Regent Street lots of shops to Oxford street, lots more shops.

    London underground map here

you could also get the Heathrow Express into London, about 15 mins, more expensive than tube and is quicker. Tube will take about an hourish.

If you take the Heathrow Express to Paddington then at Paddington change to the tube and use the Bakerloo line to Oxford Circus

National Express I think goes to Victoria bus Station, near Victoria tube station, just get on the Victoria line tube to Oxford circus.

I work very near Tiffanys. Best way is to get Piccadilly Line from Heathrow to Green Park. You should then walk from there to Bond St where Tiffanys is - it will take you a couple of minutes. This will be much quicker than the Nat Express Coach. Once you have been in Tiffanys you can walk up Bond Street and window shop and it will take you up to 10 mins to reach Oxford Street and shops galore!

Cheapest way will be to buy an oyster card and put some money on it or a one day travelcard both of which you will be able to buy at Heathrow tube station.

    Have fun!

    Hi..

Your best bet is to get a travelcard be it for a 1 day or 3 day (like we got for are soon trip to London) We bought ours off the net here: https://www.londontravelpass.com

Here is also a neat map of Oxford street : https://www.streetsensation.co.uk/oxford/os_intro.htm
Just click on each number and it shows your all the stores along each part of the streets.

    Hope this helps!

The prices quoted for the company above are for a Zone 1-6 travelcard.

If you are staying longer than 2 days (including travel to/from LHR) then you are wasting money by using them as most of the time you'll be in zones 1-2 which costs £5.10 a day off peak. If you are staying longer than 4 days then I'd get a 7 day zone 1-2 travelcard which, if bought at a Tube station, come on an Oystercard to which you add a few quid to cover travel from LHR to town

Could you tell us how long you are staying in London and what else you intend to do as that will affect whether a Travelcard or PAYG Oystercard will be the best option

The following gives some idea of the costs of the various options
