I want to place a large 100k+ amount in a bank account but I don't want any bonds or anything. What is the biggest rate I can get?

Hmmm let me think.....that'll be those that have been explained to you previously, numerous times, with links, and loads of information.

    Am I right?

If you want instant access there are a couple of options that pay around 1.2%. e.g. tesco, virgin.

It is advised not to put more than 75k with any one bank or banking group.

Tesco the Internet Saver? It gives only 1.07%, is there a better?

Also, if I put 75k and 75k in two Internet Saver accounts will it be safe?

Last, will I be able to transfer the amount 100+ anywhere I want or there are limits?

There are limits. To our tolerance :(

Be careful what you say, I've already had a post deleted in another of the OP's threads for what I thought was a fairly innocuous (and accurate) comment.
