However, if by ISA you mean Cash ISA, then the answer is almost certainly No.

How long till you need it? What are you saving / investing for?

If you want to keep it on hand but earning a bit of interest consider opening a TSB Plus and a Nationwide Flexdirect - pop the "odd" £500 into the Flexdirect monthly regular saver and adding the accruing monthly interest to that plus whatever else you can afford to save up to £500 a month?

Move the Flexdirect current account and saver on after a year - a Lloyds Club/a couple of Tesco etc?
