Tools to review finances

I haven't reviewed my finances for donkeys and am trying to do this as quickly and as easily as possible.

I was therefore looking for some sort of cheap/free online tool that I could enter details of my investments into and it would give me an overview of which sectors the investments are invested in and other useful info such as charges etc.

Does anybody know of such tools?

Google trustnet and morningstar. Enter your funds into a portfolio, click on the funds to see factsheets and charges, portfolio view can show historic performance against various indexes and % makeup of the total in geographic and sector terms.

Talexuser suggestions are good for analysis and fund charges, have a look at monevator for platform charges as well which need to be added to fund charges.

This assumes you hold investment funds on a diy platform probably need more details of what you hold to have a better idea.

and search on this forum for sorely missed (username) Snowman's spreadsheet which has an excellent round up of platform charges for the various providers.

Google drive is good - reads share prices automatically, and you can set up the sheet to suit your needs. fj
