Cost of fitting a new bathroom suite...Reasonable?

Just had someone round to price up how much he will charge to fit this...

Main bathroom = replace bath/loo/sink all taps and new over head shower...400

ensuite = replace shower and system/sink and replkace and move a loo slighty = 600 to 800 ish

downstiars cloaks = replace loo and sink 300.

We supply the bath/loos and sinks and shower systems and someone else to tile.

Thanks

  • Main bathroom - ours was done last year by a friend for £300, no shower though. Of course we have no guarantees or anything and you would get that from a plumber.

If it helps this is what I paid (in expensive Surrey/W Sussx area):

    Replace bath, sink & loo.
Replace bathroom floor (but only the boarding not the flooring).

Cost £900 which was labour + new floor but not the bathroom suite or fittings & took 2 men 1 day to complete.
  • At a quick glance it doesn't look out of order. I'll look back later and read properly. :D

  • Thanks for that....glad it seems ok to you lot as the guy is the hubby of a workmate. And from what I've been told he is pretty particular about his work and will do a good job.
