Gift aid tax return
I donate to a few charities and most of my donations are gift aid. I don't want to claim any money back on my tax return. If I don't say that I've donated money to charity will the charities not get my money? I wouldn't have thought so as if I wouldn't qualify for doing a tax return they would still get their tax benefit from my donation. It's such a hassle I don't know how much it all is, not much. Any help appreciated.

Rang hmrc and they said, as I thought, it doesn't affect the money charities receive.0
