Parachute jump insurance

Normally, if your parachute doesn't open you can take it back and they will give you another one

If its less than being struck by lightning etc you know its a waste of money.
I went out with a parachute instructor once.
The chances of being killed are lower than being killed in your car on the drive to the airfield.
You get 2 parachutes and in some cases an automated opening device that pushes a piston when there is a rapid air pressure change to open your reserve parachute.
The chances of a catastrophe are infinitessimal.
Spraining you ankle us more likely, but still low because you get trained before you do a jump and if you follow the instruction to bend your knees and keep your feet together then it's still extremely unlikely.
I've done about 10 jumps and personally I would not get any more insurance than I thought necessary for every day life where you take risks on transport.0
