I took some time out from work this morning to go for a run, it was great to get back out there. I need to keep to it, especially putting it before work while my workload allows it. I know I have achieved some things today but I am unsure what they are yet!
I went to the coffee shop today to claim my free cuppa on their loyalty card. I could save money by not going at all but it is a guaranteed way to give me a break.
In money news, I will only be spending £1.99 todayMFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

I have a new pair of running shoes to break in, I think you've inspired me to go out for a couple of miles tonight. Trying out a pair of Brooks as I could no longer justify £100+ for my favoured Asics (and I don't like the fit of the new model Kayano, far too 'engineered' and narrow)0

Strange, I always run in kayano's due to my body's "quirks" but this pair seem shorter in length.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

8 days without checking in...ooops, this diary was meant to be a new start
My parents and niece were staying near where I work from Thursday to Monday so we did lots of fun things, it was great to have the company and Mr AJM joined us for the day out on Sunday which was even better.
Came home from work today and although I have some work I need to do I have 4 days here :j I feel absolutely shattered so it is much needed.
We have a family wedding on Saturday and have some relatives staying so I need to spend a bit of tomorrow getting stuff ready. Once they have gone and I know how much the weekend has cost us I will send some more of my money to savings.
I was expecting a letter from my mortgage company to let us know our new payment following the base rate change but we haven't had anything yet. I might ring on Friday if I haven't heard anything. I want to make money plans with the extra that I am expecting...don't they know I have a mortgage I want to get rid of?MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

I have had a productive day off work so far updating spreadsheets. I am meeting Mr AJM after work and we are going shopping for our weekend of hosting. I am going to be as organised as possible so I don't need to go back out to the shops again tomorrow so will be making a shopping list soon.
I have just come in from a run. I love running but have lost my mojo a bit recently and seem to find every excuse not to go. Normally this wouldn't matter too much but I have my first half marathon in 24 days so need to keep up the training. I loved it while I was out so I need to keep doing it.
Off for a shower and then I will continue to be productive, a lot easier this morning as there is no live olympics to watch!MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

Thanks for the reply Radish. It will only be on our larger one as the smaller one is already as low as it can go. I missed a few of the rate changes in 2008-2009 due to the collar on our product but it does mean that when we start to see rises we have a few under our belt before the payment rises.
Maybe I will wait until next week to call them and give them a bit longer!
I am quite shocked. I have just had an email from the charity I am running for at the Great North Run asking me if I will be part of their fundraiserfriday because of my story. I have no idea what other information they want but it will be great to be involved a bit more.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

popped in to read new thread. Well done on running.
I love my asics. I have had others but do prefer them. I cheat. I try them on elsewhere then pick several of them off amazon into my wishlist. I edit a note and write on it the current prices, as they dip (they always do) I swoop in and buy using my survey AGC money.
