Dhl

Having recently moved house, and continuing my normal practice of shopping online, it had to happen sooner or later.

In the last week, I've had 3 packages dispatched from Amazon via Omega (which is part of DHL now). The first turned up as expected but the second & third (with the same delivery address on it) have been returned to the depot "address insufficient".

Ordinarily I'd just go to the depot (although that's a 50 mile round trip) - but I really can't understand how they can deliver once and then subsequently fail twice with the same address information!

On the other hand, Royal Mail deliver flawlessly here. CityLink have even managed to show up a mere 42 minutes late on a 0730 delivery.

Because this is DHL and I have had some horrendous experiences with them in the last three months. I have stopped buying from one company simply because they are using DHL to deliver.

Success (of sorts)!! The driver who delivered last week (and who failed to deliver twice this week so far) has delivered. Admittedly to a very similar reading address, but at least it's within walking distance. Still I've managed to get the geographical number of the local depot out of them :D
