I think they meant mulled wine!

Could've been worse, could've been auto corrected to mole or vole wine :D
(but I wouldn't eat or drink anything from a mouldy vine either)

On Morrisons Facebook page today we have a 3 legged dog with cancer in palliative care, one with a leg broken in 2 places and a cat shot with an air rifle!

also: "I would share with <name>. born a 3 legged leper in the slums of oldham, he's battled adversity all his life, even the x factor rejected him as his story was too sad. if only you knew what a difference Tyler the roarin tiger would make to this poor man's life."
I find the people who think they are 'funny' and posting a load of made-up nonsense just as annoying as the sob stories.
    Thank you all who post.

Same here Blueyez. I've just today had the results of my latest CT scan, and everything is still stable. :j

I couldn't use it to try to win a competition though.

I am glad to hear that. Often the best news we get it that things haven't gotten worse.

  • Spotted over on twitter for a basket of chocolate via an account that might be scammy (vanishing comps & last winner announcement is from March)

"im ready to win this and eat it all at once during a mental breakdown"
You only had to reply with #win

I can sympathise with the whole " I have survived another year" thing- I do get giddy at the idea that I get another Christmas/Birthday- It's a indescribable feeling-a gift in itself as a person with incurable illnesses. I just couldn't use mine as a comp entry though :o And I'll pass on a mouldy vine! :)

Not that far done the road yet as newly stage 4 this summer. Busy making every day count, but hoping to have many , many special days, Christmas etc ahead.

 Brilliant news! Results yesterday from my first CT since restarting treatment showed reductions! :j Thrilled beyond belief, but not using it to win some crisps either!

This scanxiety / fear, that treatment isn't working will always haunt and torment. Nothing is guaranteed. But still not spilling on FB :p

Reductions woohoo, even better than my no change!

Sorry we've derailed the thread a bit!
