Updates failing

Firstly apologies for what may seem a simple question.
Secondly I have looked for the answer already and can't find what I need.
I've upgraded (hmmm?) to Windows 10 and already have pages and pages of updates that have failed despite the computer being set to automatically download and install updates.
I keep retrying and there are still pages and pages.
And I don't understand how to do each update manually from the Microsoft Download Centre, if I could even find each update there!
For example:
Update History
Security Update for Adobe Flash Player for Windows 10 Version 1511 for x64-based Systems (KB3174060)
Failed to install on 04/08/16 (in blue, hyperlink)
So I click that link which pops up a description and another link for more info. This link opens a Microsoft page with Summary, More Information, How to Obtain and install the update etc. etc.
But I can't find anywhere to just click a button that says download the update. I'm not stupid but this drives me to distraction!
Can anyone tell me, in simple, English words (maybe with pictures!) how to go about getting all these updates that have failed?
Edit: I've found this but am not sure if it is genuine and safe - http://catalog.update.microsoft.com/

I have KB2267602(Definition 1.225.32350) - error OX80070643
Windows Defender sitting since last week.
Retry does not work. Usually it disappears and pops up again the next month when it usually fails again, this time no. Mine is set to do updates automatic and none have worked even the Windows 10 Anniversary one has not updated. I know its there but not happened.0 -

Do you have Norton AV installed ?
http://community.norton.com/en/forums/windows-10-update-error-definition-update-windows-defender-kb2267602-definition-121313790Science isn't exact, it's only confidence within limits.0 -
What happens if you open Windows Defender directly, and then use the Update option in the software itself?donnac2558 wrote: »I have KB2267602(Definition 1.225.32350) - error OX80070643

That has unblocked Win10 Update issues for me before now.0 -

Are you on Windows 10 Anniversary Edition?
If not, I'd get the Update tool (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12387/windows-10-update-history) to move to Anniversary Edition in one jump, then see how updates behave from that point.0 -
Go it sorted. For some reason Norton blocked it and this time it stuck. So uninstalled Norton let it go through and reinstalled Norton. Never happened before that it just stuck everything.0
