There are many valid defence points that can be used against JAS and particularly in relation to Staples Luton.

    1. Their signs were very poorly located and at times during 2014 were hidden by scaffolding.
    2. The signs are in any event forbidding and do not constitute a contractual offer.
    3. JAS also went through a very unfortunate period where many of the registered keeper checks they made with the DVLA were way beyond the timescales permitted in POFA (I know of several cases where the initial check - that enabled them to send out Notices to Keeper - were not made until over 100 days had passed from the parking event).
    4. Then they got themselves into hotter water still.

These have all been winning points at court but then if WH handle any appeal then unfortunately I'm not sure they will latch onto that fact.
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

he must of found £50 down the sofa
It's possible that a creditor of JAS Parking has objected to the striking off; we'll have to wait to see.

Apologies if this seems a silly thing to ask, but should I have had contact from JAS by now regarding the outcome of the appeal? As of yet I have had no letters or emails from them asking for the fine to be paid...

I have noticed their website domain (jasparkingsolutions.org) is no longer working...

no , they have 6 years to try to claim the money, through the small claims court if necessary
