Yes, Darksparkle is correct.
I've also been told that I can forego UC in favour of ESA but I'd be no better off in terms of the amount of benefit I can receive.
I spoke to my landlady friend yesterday about printing off a tenancy agreement. She said that she's never done that before and doesn't intend to start now. She's always gone on trust and it has always worked out for her and tenants she's had in the past. She said that a tenant, who was also a friend, has in the past needed to claim while living with her and what DWP did was send the landlady a kind of checklist form on which it's to be indicated exactly what space / room and facilities / utilities the tenant receives for her rent. Does anyone know if that's still an option?
I'd like to quote sentences and questions from previous replies but can't quite figure out how, and I get a message when replying that I can't reply with links. So quotes are links? I guess it's not important..
I'm really grateful for everything everyone has said here thus far, especially those who counteracted my thoughts about taking the meds my GP prescribed.0 -

You can't post links, but to quote people click on the little orange speech bubble below the response you want to quote. The one next to it (blue speech bubbles) enables you to add responses all onto one reply. Then you click on quick reply after you have finished selecting the speech bubbles. The reply box will open with the quotes you wanted already there. If you just selected one post to quote, that will open the box automatically.
I can't help with the benefits bit, but do take the tablets. you have enough to deal with without trying to do it without any sleep. A few days sleep won't fix the problems, but it will put things in perspective a bit better and give you the energy to deal with things.0 -
I just use the blue QUOTE next to the Thanks
