Nationwide Credit Card statements (resolved)

I normally log in with memorable data and I've suddenly started getting demands to use my card reader just to open my pdf statements.
I can see my balance, make payments, transfer money without it but can't see my statements. This is new, is it just me or everybody?

because since the app updated i can no longer view my cc statements on it but i can for my current account.0 -
No, it was just the normal website. However, I just tried it again today and that problem has cleared; it downloads the statement immediately this morning.
Maybe Nationwide are watching this forum?

Its the way it is meant to work. If you log in with memorable data, as I do, you will get the ocassional seemingly random demand to use the card reader to carry out transactions or read statements. It's part of the security regime.0
