ESA, PIP full time student

I'll be starting a 4 year uni course on September 25th, or thereabouts. I won't be getting the full student loan, just around £5800, no bursary. I know I have to tell the DWP about this loan, and fact I'm a full time student. Can I do this around 30th September? Just so I get Septembers money, would be nice to get Octobers money, before they make changes, or stop my benefits completely? How will they handle this if I tell them towards end of September, is there a form I have to complete? Can I still get the benefits while a full time student? anyone know any info? Thank you!

No, you inform them as soon as your circumstances change.

Alright then, I'll tell them around 30th September, which is when I officially start my course anyway. Do I just call them and they work it all out themselves?0

No, you'll need to provide quite a bit of information concerning your loan etc. You can do this in advanced which is much easier.0 -
Alright, when I call them up, do I need to tell both ESA and PIP? Is it all done case by case basis, so I may have to attend an assessment and be found fit for work? Is it possible for anyone to say what will happen?0

It wont effect PIP, ESA however it will, I have no idea if another assessment with be required.0 -
Your PIP won't be affected by the student loan, as it is not means tested.

I attended a DSA assessment couple months ago and I'm eligible for DSA, and will be getting DSA from september. My ESA is income based.

It says you don't have to notify PIP if you go back to work, does that also mean I don't have to notify PIP about being a full time student?0 -

You will need to provide them with a copy of the letter from Student Loans which provides a complete breakdown of the payments you will receive. If you inform them late the only result is going to be an overpayment of benefit which you will have to repay anyway.0
