    The Q&A section on the Screwfix page linked above includes a response from Nexus (BG) stating there is a stand-by power consumption of less than 50mW on a standard UK supply.

    So, over a year it'll use less than 50 mW * 60 s/min * 60 min/hour * 24 hours/day * 365 days = 1.58 MJ = 0.44 kWh, at a cost of less than 5p over a year on a tariff of (say) 11p/kWh.
