Best Life Insurance Options

Hi there,

I've never posted on here before but have read plenty, I am a 26 year old man with a child on the way, I am unsure as to what my best life insurance options would be as looking to the future I would like to leave my child/children something when I pass away.

I am an occasional smoker and occasional dtinker, other than that I live a fairly healthy lifestyle.

The UK has around 13 different types of life assurance. Although most are no longer mainstream.

The mainstream options tend to be decreasing term assurance, level term assurance and family income benefit. Each is very different in what it aims to cover and payout. So, they are the three you should look at and pick from them the one that fits your circumstances. Don't forget to place the life assurance in trust.
