Can a USA company strike your UK credit file?

I know that you can't transfer your credit file abroad but I was wondering whether a company in the USA can put a strike on your credit file in the UK?

I have a website that is hosted in the US and several times they've failed to take payments off my card. I've never had a strike from them, they just took two months worth of payments next month, but I was wondering if a strike would even be possible?

Regardless of whether its us or uk based the cant put anything on your credit file as you don't have a credit agreement with them, the only way they could is if they successfully took you to court

Credit files are not international, your UK one is based on credit in the UK and if you have credit in the US you would have a US credit history. The key issue here is whether or not there is a credit agreement at all (as glentoran99 said above), if there is no credit agreement then there is nothing to be recorded as far as I can tell.
