Best place for my money?

Firstly, I preface this by the fact I would consider myself somewhat of a novice in regard to savings accounts; so any advice greatly appreciated.
Anyway, I have about £10,000-£15,000 I would like to put into a savings account.
My current account is with Lloyds, but obviously would like the best possible rates.
Ideally, the money should be instant access (with no fees) in case I need to access it in an emergency. Would also prefer it if I was able to add in the lump sum, rather than paying monthly as some of them seem to prefer.
Thank you.

Normal savings accounts are rubbish, but you could spread it round accounts listed here.
I believe only the 6% accounts are not instant access, but please check for yourself.Eco Miser
