Hi,

I'm looking at taking the family on the London eye on Friday 26th august and just wondered if anyone had any cheap codes or sites for tickets please, they are doing a 2 for 1 offer but you need a train ticket to claim the deal and I'm driving down there unfortunately

just buy cheap train tickets from one london station to another to take advantage of the 241 offer (you'll need one for each person) - sorry, I can't remember what the cheapest journey is, although it's been discussed on this board several times before... you don't need to actually travel on the train

Would a Watford to London train ticket be ok please ?

You need a ticket with the British Rail logo on it for the 2for1 rail offers and Watford metropolitan line is a London transport station so any ticket issued will only have the London Transport logo on it so not eligible Watford Junction and Watford High Street (about 18 mins walk from Watford station) are on the BR overground line, so tickets issued there will have the required BT logo for you to use with the vouchers.
