I notice this card has no Foreign transactions fees, but has a fee, but the Fee is waived if you have a Current account them.
How strict are they with the applications, I mean do you have to have 100% Credit Rating or are they flexible ?.
Thanks

There's no universal credit rating and no such thing as 100%.
Use the eligibility checker on their site to see if you may be accepted.0 -
Don't you have to have their £28 a month Reward Black current account in order to get the credit card fee waived?
And for that there's the small matter of the £100K per annum income, or £300K mortgage, or savings and investments of £100K with them to overcome.
After that I'd imagine it's plain sailing.0 -

Yes that's true, I thought it would just be any current account with them and not necessarily the Black Current account.
Do you think they would just let you apply for the account and open it without the £100k up front, and then if £100k was not paid in 12 months later you could worry about it then ?.
Or are they likely to ask for proof of income etc. Although the Black account really is just a normal current account, so I cant imagine that they would be that fussy if you were still making them money by using the card and the account.0 -

Monthly fee and eligibility criteria apply to the Reward Black current account.Do you think they would just let you apply for the account and open it without the £100k up front, and then if £100k was not paid in 12 months later you could worry about it then ?.Or are they likely to ask for proof of income etc.Although the Black account really is just a normal current accountso I cant imagine that they would be that fussy if you were still making them money by using the card and the account.0

Halifax Clarity and a can of paint would be easier...0

The wording is at best vague as to whether you need to be a Natwest Private customer to apply for the card.
I am *assuming* based on the wording that you can simply apply for the card regardless of if you are a Private Customer with the Black Rewards account.
You must be a mainland UK resident, over 18 years old and earning over £15k p.a. - seems to be the only real eligibility criteria and there is a soft checker apparently on their site.
So why not see if you might qualify ? You'll have to pay the annual fee though. Thanks

It does have a 3% fee on overseas cash withdrawals though. Difficult to see why anyone would favour this over Halifax Clarity for overseas use.0 -

I think it is pretty clear that anyone can apply as far as at least 18 yo and earning a min £15k pa. if you are a reward black bank account customer the £84 fee is waived.0
