Failing that I'd love to work with animals. Preferably with very little human contact. :)

    Ditto

or an archaeologist . Before I went to uni I had a dilemma, archaeology or Law. I chose the latter. I still regret it.

I would love to resurect my music career. Failing that well tour manager or tour reviewer for Level 42. Failing that, Caterer, roadie, programme seller, backing singer(oh God YES PLEASE) anything that would get me on the tour. Its not normal being SOOOOOO Obsessed is it?:rotfl:
Blind as you run...aware you were staring at the sun.

And when no hope was left inside on that starry starry night.

    :A Level 42- the reason I exist. :A
  • I went through this identical situation in May.

After 8years in the NHS I took redundancy (through choice) but didn't know what to do. My 'profession' is PR but my 'passion' is cooking. I've had a few ideas but until I decide fully I'm working with AQA full time.

I love animals (particularly dogs) and I like writing.

Much of it with me is confidence these days - you wouldn't think I had a degree in Drama!!

I'll be keeping up with your situation with interest - might give me some motivation to decide what Iwant to do!

Seaxwyn - I'm pulling up the link to that book now, might be just what I need.

I dont know. Which is really frightening. Both me and OH have just been made redundant. We are getting a few grand each but not much. (We want to put it towards a house). Finding work is hard, but neither of us can think of anything to answer this question.

Im willing to work all the hours and study too, but I can think of anything I really want to do.

    How sad is that?
Mummy to two girls, 4 & 1, been at home for four years, struggling to contend with the terrifying thought of returning to work.

  • Wow thanks for the replies, my computer got the hump last night so only checked tonight!

Am feeling fairly positive and I will go ahead with that course and see what happens. i would also love to write books, but I was too late for the creative writing course and so I shall just make cake and eat it for now! I will of course share a slice with everyone!

Sea - I will pm as I'd like to take you up on the offer of the book if I could.

I spoke to my friend who is a really good artist and she said we could do a children's book together just as a bit of fun, I will write she will draw.

I suppose I have spent that long in the law I just want to be creative. Loved hearing what you all wanted to do though, if only money was no object we could all do what we wanted! I will keep you updated

    Thank you :D
