Purple Loans PPI

I tried to claim PPI from Purple Loans and was told they were owned by GE Money so I sent them the template letter along with all the information I had including copies of the contract agreement with the PPI on it.
I also explained that the Purple Loans Representative told me I had to have the PPI to have the loan and that I had been forced to have it.
Their reply simply said its over 6 years ago so there is nothing they can do and that my enquiry has been closed.
I phoned them to be told that the case is closed and that the decision makers decision is final !!!

Where can I go from here ?

What year was this taken out?,if it was pre 2005 then they are correct.
You could try the underwriter,this may not get you anywhere but you won't know until you try.
This loan was Single Premium and this is one of your complaint reasons.

I am sure if any poster on this site knows a reason why you cannot go after the underwriter,I am sure they will let us know.
