How to change default program for printing windows 7

I recently changed my preferences on my pc (win 7) to use Photoshop as my default program when printing. (I had a reason, too long to explain here.) I now need to reverse this setting back to the original defaults so that I can print directly to the printer using the Print Option. (This currently selects PS.)
I cannot remember how I changed it originally...... it was easy at the time but I cannot remember how I did it and cannot work out how to change it back to the original defaults. Anyone able to help?:(

Click Start, Devices & Printers then right click printer and set as default0

I have tried that but there does not seem to be an option to stop it defaulting to using Photoshop - all the options seem to be actual printer settings. Am I missing it somewhere?0

Right click the printer you want to be default in the location specified above. Choose the set as default option on the menu that pops up.0

Where are you printing from (application) that won't follow the default you've set in Devices and Printers?0

The wording of your question is confusing . Hence the above comments on setting default printer which i dont think is what you are actually asking ..
Can you describe what program you are in when you click on "print" ?
And then you say that you have "photoshop" as an available printer ??!!
I am taking a guess that you are trying to print a file without actually opening it here but i may be totally wrong.
more info please0 -
Sorry for the confusion. I used to be able to click on Print for a .jpg photo (in My photos) or in My Documents (I use Word) or I could use Control+P, and it would bring up the standard print screen and I could then print it out from there, on my HP printer.
I changed this (I forget precisely how, by following instructions I found on line) so that when I clicked print on a .jpeg it would take me to Photoshop to print it from there. This is because I wanted to edit some images before printing them. This worked fine. It still does.
However when I try to print a document, using Print, nothing happens. Same thing when I use Control+P, nothing. When I print a .jpeg it still takes me to Photoshop Edit mode to print from within Photoshop.
I want to return to everything printing by default from the Print command in the software or via Control+P.0 -
When you RIGHT click the printer, from within "devices and printers" , do you not get this option ?0

Open up Windows Explorer, find your picture, single click on it, look at the menu bar along the top that has "Organise" "Preview" Slide show" "Print" "Email" etc., click on print - what happens?0

Edited for accuracy*.
* Assumes OP is right-handed and/or uses a typical mouse button config.0 -
Ta Bod, you are right (or if you are left handed - left!) Always good to be accurate, however if the OP had right clicked by mistake (or even deliberately) one of the options on the drop down menu is "Print."
I was/am having a hard time understanding what the OP's actual problem is.0
