Did the receptionist not offer to locate the interviewers for you...make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Yes it happened to me at a managed building well reception - the receptionist simply forgot to annouce I had arrived to interviwers other side of building when I was v early one time for a change arriving, till I queried why I was still sat like 25 minutes in this reception lounge area and decided to call direct, I'm sure the interviewers really thought I was late!! it wasn't a good impression and I wasn't that surprised I was never contacted even afterwards to be told I had been unsuccessful. So I reckon they got a hump on when they realised they still have interview to carry out!0

Just be thankful you didn't go through what I did when switching jobs this year. Before getting my current position in April, I was interviewed by a very large company with a great reputation and benefits - household name.
I had interview 1. Went very well. Interview 2, had to give a presentation. Final meet and greet with the Head of the business area.
I was told the job was mine and I'd done great .. However the CEO had pulled the budget and the job role was dissolved.

Last year I had a job interview and the interviewers kept me waiting for 45 minutes whilst they discussed the previous candidate. My interview lasted about 20 minutes in the end as they didn't want to keep the person after me waiting!Debt 30k in 2008.:o Cleared all my debt in 2013 and loving being debt free

Had an interview in May where the bus driver sent me the wrong side of the park. Was 30 minutes late and they told me to have an interview at 12.15 - Had the interview, five questions and lasted about six / seven minutes. Didn't get the job, which was a massive blessing. Place was very disorganised.
As for the funding issue - I was offered a job at a car auction place two weeks ago, three days later (I didn't go public until I had the call) the job was on hold due to funding and they basically said apply for other positions - not realising, the positions they were offering were things I am not qualified for.0 -
I had an interview once where they kept me waiting for an hour. Was just about to leave when they turned up, with no apology. I decided I didn't want to work here.0

I had an interview for a Marketing Exec once.
Took me 20 miles down the road whilst I followed a door-to-door Sky salesman around for 12 hours!! Knew instantly I didn't want the job but my car was back at their "office"...!
Had the cheek to invite me back for a "second interview".0 -
Yes, I once had an interview at the company's hallway because all rooms were occupied. It was noisy and very uncomfortable.
Didn't get the job.0 -
Yes with a large, well known company. First interview, the interviewer failed to introduce herself which was weird and lectured me about how important it was that the successful candidate communicated with her team just by 'picking up the phone'. She left and I waited and waited for 30mins. Went out to reception to ask what was happening. Turned out she hadn't phoned the next person to tell them she was done and it was their turn to interview me. I thought it a one off so attended the second interview. I was led into a room and started talking to the other person there. Imagine the shock upon realising they weren't the interviewer but another candidate
I was keen on the job and accepted their apologies for the mess ups. Biggest lesson I ever learned; I know know the signs to watch out for, a lack of organisation being key.0 -
Yes this has happened to me. Applied for a jnr position with a large company. I was asked to come in to be interviewed by HR people. I arrived at the offices early and each room i went into was packed with people all for the same job all for the same time and they kept on coming. I waited for 2 hours and then went to reception to ask for further details. The HR manager just happened to be there so I spoke to her. She couldnt understand why I had an issues about the way things had been arranged.Manager at Getfroglet dot com for professional work from home jobs0
