Insted of tweeting, you could have checked your statement first.
Maybe your payment did arrive after the statement was compiled.

I pay my Halifax CC online from my Halifax account and it can take a couple of days to show its been paid.

My available funds are less, but no transaction shows on the current account and the card amount still shows the original figure. Usually just a couple of days though and it then shows correctly.

Just found out the Android app wont work if you root the phone.

I paid it weeks ago though so it's cleared and it does show on my statement list. I did check my online account prior to posting this.

The balance doesn't change until the DD is taken from the previous statement. It will say on the statement what date its due. No interest is payable as long as the DD goes through

The OP has made no mention of paying by DD. The way they have worded the post suggests a form of manual payment.

Could it be that the OP has more than one Halifax card and the payment has been credited to the wrong card?

My bill last month was just over £500 and paid it. It shows it as credit and payment received. This months statement is £600 I've spent no where near that amount and it's the previous months added on I belive

    Do you have online banking?

    Have you rung them?

There is little chance of anybody here being able to sort it out for you.
