Avro energy not on Santander 123 list

Hi folks not sure if this should be in here or under banking but...

Having started a switch to AVRO Energy for gas and electric and at the same time opening a Santander 123 account, unfortunately for me AVRO are not listed for cashback as an energy supplier.

I have started to liaise with Santander as per their T+C's to get them added but have a feeling its not as straight forward as they imply.

Just thought i'd mention it in case anyone else is considering AVRO.

Think you've pretty much summed it up yourself. All you can do at this moment in time is ask them to add them to the list. The worse they can say is no.

So far i've spoken to 4 different people in Santander, none really had any idea what i was calling about, at the moment i have a case raised with "back office" i await a response.....

Avro in fairness came up with the OID/OIN/SUN number same day, they say they have advised Santander many times but it never seems to get recorded/added.

One way or the other either the bank gets ditched or the supplier if they won't add a new supplier.

Letter from Santander "can confirm that your direct debit payments to Avro energy is eligible for 2% cash back"

At least we now know.
