I dislike Very and think they should be bloody shut down.
We spent several hundred pounds on small kitchen appliances for every single item to turn up damaged in the boxes. Every box looked like it had been resealed with sellotape, and the eight items came in three deliveries and all were unusable - stoved in door on microwave etc
I genuinely think they are selling seconds / damaged returned items and passing them off as new perfect goods. They accused us of damaging them allThe opposite of what you know...is also true0 -
All of these catalogues are the same. I don't normally use them, but some time ago 'Largeshrubs' had a tempting offer - a complete Dorma bedding set including a quilted throw and curtains for half price and 4 months interest free credit.
Paid the first instalment - fine. Then I got a letter proclaiming that they 'had a wonderful offer for me that would save me £££s per month!' Of course it would - the 'wonderful offer' was to pay my bill over 12 months instead of 4, and pay something like 30% + interest. The 'save £££s per week wasn't a saving at all, it just meant that I would be paying less per week than the 4 monthly interest free payments, with no mention of the fact that the usurious rate of interest would mean I would actually pay substantially more !
That letter went into the bin. And the next one.
By the time I had paid 3 months they were clearly getting desperate - they rang me to ask why I wasn't taking advantage of their 'wonderful offer' and had I realised that I would only be paying (from memory) £5 per week instead of £50 per month! I was on nights at the time and the call woke me up. Lets just say that I was never bothered by them again.0 -
Additionally, the non-BNPL balance doesn't seem to be stated anywhere. You are given the BNPL balance and the total outstanding on your account, and you can only find the 'missing' (non-BNPL) balance by subtracting one from the other.
This is VERY confusing. You have to make a take 3 or minimum payment then go through the whole process again to make a BNPL payment. You should be given a BNPL payment option ( i.e. your bill divided by 12 if it's a 12 month BNPL) as well as a take 3 option on 1st payment page.0 -

Yes it is on you account , if you click "my Account" at the top, then click "make payment" then click the "buy now pay later" it lists the items there
Any why would it split items into 12 payments ?? Some people like me wait a few months then pay the item off0
