Advice on competition win please

Hello, I'm very new to this so I hope I'm doing this right?!
Anyway about 3 weeks ago I won a competition with a radio station on Twitter (quite a big prize it was a TV and entertainment system) So they messaged me on Twitter congratulating me and asked me to message over my details which I done. Later that day they messaged me back thanking me and told me someone will be in touch shortly to give me details. All this was on the 12th July... I've since had no phone call or emails from them. This was on the 12th July, I've since messaged them in Twitter and on their website just to see what was happening but I haven't had anything back. I was just wondering if this is normal or what is the norm for this sort of thing? I thought I would of at least had an email confirming details by now.
Grateful for any advice and sorry for the long message haha!

I have been/am in a similar boat (I'm wondering if it's the same prize provider!).

Most competitions seem to list at least 28 days for fulfillment, but it can be longer. I've been trying to get in contact with my circumstance, but had little luck... however I did speak to a person who mentioned that they fulfill prizes in batches (they run multiple competitions), and that I should expect to hear in six weeksish... so I'm trying to forget about it for now.

If it's the official radio station account, I doubt you have anything to worry about. I'd maybe screenshot the DM and winner tweet from them... I don't know if really that serves for much, but I know it'd make me feel better while waiting.

I'll leave it for someone more experienced to advise... but it does seem to happen, so hang tight!

Misslayed

I won a small runner up prize on Twitter on 1st July, nothing since, despite my mournful 'looking forward to receiving my prize' tweet, til yesterday, when I had a message to say it would be sent in about two weeks. I think sometimes the one person in the office who deals with it has gone off on leave, especially at this time of year. Hope it's resolved soon, and Congratulations by the way!

That's very true, it could be that they're away on holiday... It certainly wish I was haha!
