Converting .jpg to PDF

Options
I need to email proof of my no claims discount to my insurance company, they want me to send it as a PDF file. I have scanned the document and it's now in .jpg format - is there something I can use to convert it to PDF? Ideally free that will run on Windows 10 :)

Start up Word (~2007 onwards), use Insert -> Picture, and choose the JPG file.
'Print' the page to a PDF file.

(Surely most scanner software will allow you to do "Scan to PDF file" directly?)

Windows 10 has Microsoft print to PDF as standard (well mine does). Right click on the photo, select print & choose 'print to pdf option.

Otherwise, Foxit pdf printer is free

I've used CutePDF with Windows 7 to print to a PDF.
  • Try UnitePDF JPG to PDF converter which is 100% free and you can sort the images. But there is a limitation for 5MB for each file.

Thanks for contributing but I think or would at least hope the original poster has done it by now since the thread dates from 2016 :)

IIRC, the PDF format handles jpegs as-is, so no conversion would be needed.
