Parking Eye ticket

Hi there,

Can someone give me some advice as to the validity of this ticket?

Received when parking in a casino car park, for around 1h 30 mins, to use the casino, when there was no clear signage saying that cars needed to be validated etc

Letter arrived in the post three weeks later.

Am I best writing to the casino, directly to Parking eye, or ignoring altogether?

read the NEWBIES sticky thread and appeal it online as detailed in that thread

also try for a landowner cancellation as well

its a legitimate invoice of claim , but if it arrived after day 15 from the incident then it fails POFA2012 for england and wales only

Slight correction here and because you obscured the date of NtK, we can't be definitive if it is out of time.


POFA decrees that 2 working days are needed to deliver a NtK. As your contravention was on a Saturday/Sunday, then the NtK should be dated no later than Wednesday 15th June.

Actual delivery date is not covered by POFA.

I am sure that Casino has cancelled for complaining consumers before, so try that (to the Manager) as well as the usual appeal to PE from the keeper. If you were a patron then the Casino should be able to cancel it easily.

What was the date on the PCN 'date issued'?
