Building Work in Bulgaria!!

I am going to Bulgaria on 17th June and staying at the Iberostar Sunny Beach Resort Hotel in Sunny Beach. The hotel is supossed to open on June 1st (hope it does!!), however this aside I have read mixed information that there is a lot of Building work going on in Sunny Beach but should be ordered to stop early June and clear up ready for Summer season, (not sure what to believe though as read so much mixed info regarding extent).
Just wondered if anyone has been recently or went a similar time last year as I have read that there was similar building work at similar time last year so just wondering what to expect!!
Also I have never been to Bulgaia so any advice in general would be much apreciated, thanks in advance
