PS4/Demand 5 problems

Sorry if this is not the correct place as wasn't sure where to put it, for months we have been watching 5 demand catch up on the PS4, on friday it started playing up and won't play. We have checked the internet and it will play games/go on internet/netflix/4OD all works fine, it is just 5 on demand, the OH has a PS3 in another room, so we tried that and it worked fine and moved it to the lounge and it worked, but even if we move the PS4 to other rooms it will still not play a programme, it plays the adverts and then the show you want to watch freezes, so it has to be the PS4.


Does anyone know how we can solve this

    You could try to rebuild the database.
    plug in the PS4 controller using the supplied USB
    Turn off PS4
    then hold the power button for 9 seconds (2nd beep)
    then you have a list of safemode options
    Chose rebuild database.

    Hope it works

    Thanks LeeAngry - just before i try this, it won't erase any of my OH GTA stuff from the gaming side?

    No it wont change anything. It will move things around a little but games saves and DLC will all stay exactly as they were when you left them.

    Sadly it didn't work the 5 demand logo comes up and then we get a black screen, have even turned of the router to reboot... i am just bemused why it has stopped working in the last few days

    Sorry to hear that. I'm guessing you have already tried to remove and reinstall demand 5?

    It sounds like an issue with the C5 app rather than your PS4, network, or anything else. As Lee says, trying uninstalling then re-install or check if there is an update available. Most of the apps/games update from time to time. Check your settings - I think you can set it on auto update, which will just tell you when it has been updated. If this is turned off, it won't auto update. I'm not sat in front of my PS4 to check, and I don't use the C5 player, but that usually works for me when I have an app issue.
