Role redundant and now not redundant

Hi Everyone,
May I have some advice please on what my next steps may be...............
I have been made redundant after the company I worked for accepted an early termination of the SLA from the organisation it worked with which in effect made my position redundant.
However I have since learnt that my company has pursued the other company for compensation over the breaking of the terms of the SLA to which the other company has now ended the early termination of the SLA and re-instated my company as the provider of the work. My role/position has now been advertised for a new employee.
This all transpired whilst I was under consultation and it was actually one of the Directors of the other company that informed me they were staying with my company and that I shouldn't be made redundant now. My company proceeded with the redundancy process and I had been with the company 23 months up to the termination date last Friday.
Any advice on future steps or unfair dismissal are extremely welcome

Sorry, but with less than two years service they can terminate your employment for almost any reason they like.

Hi, it's probably no coincidence they are terminating your employment one month before you have any rights, think what it will save them. If they know this contract will not be renewed, they are not going to keep someone on if they can recruit someone else who will have no rights more than a month from now.

It is immoral, I think, but unfortunately they are within their rights. I wish you all the best in your job search.
