Water leaking into electricity meter!

I wonder if anyone can help...my next door neighbour has water ( I think from her toilet overflow) constantly leaking out onto the electricity meter. I mean by a hell of a lot and not just a small amount. The wall is soaking wet and we have spoken about this many times but she doesn't like people coming to work in her house. I'm worried living next door that this could start a fire and that the water is waste water not clean water.
Am I worrying unnecessarily?

It sounds like her overflow from a toilet or roof tank, phone your local water co & report it & they will make her get it fixedI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -
Water board phoned. Hoping they do something. Would anyone like to guess if its's dangerous?0

I believe the electric company owns the meter, worth a call to voice your concerns to them as well.In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0

If the water is from a cistern or tank overflow, it's clean, not waste. Still not good though.0

I was hoping the electricity box would be set well back into the wall and encased in plastic and be weatherproof. But from your post I must be wrong & a bit dense!0 -
So it's an exterior meter box that's getting wet?0

Have you pointed out to her the safety aspects of it not just for her but others?
I can understand the not wanting workmen in the home, but safety should override that, maybe she has other issues.
Have you heard anything back from the Waterboard?,Fully paid up member of the ignore button club.If it walks like a Duck, quacks like a Duck, it's a Duck.0
