Could you perhaps get a cc with 0% on spends for x months and pay it off within the free period so you won't have any extra interest?

That's not a bad idea, I'll keep that in mind :)
  • Evening,

Just a quick one before I head off to bed.

NSD today and I took my lunch, just need to make mine in the morning.

Dropped DD off at school this morning for her trip, boy it's quiet here :(

DS has Cadets tomorrow, he's ironed his greens and just need to polish his boots :)

On the plus side....we are on target money wise for the month, we will have money left granted it's OD money but it's still a result. Aiming for a much better month next month.

    Night all x
  • House hunting is so exciting, though selling can be a bit stressful! Are you going to list your house straight away? Is it ready to list or do you need to do any work to it?

There are a few bits we need to do, mainly a lick of paint and some decluttering but that should be done by the end of the month :)

We plan to put the house on the market no later than December

  • Thank goodness your contract has appeared and great news on the house move, sounds really exciting and definitely agree to do it now so you can be in your forever house and enjoy making it your home.

Hope dd enjoys her trip, the time will fly by.

  • Morning,

Not much to report, had another two NSD's this week, although the rest of this week won't be.

I'm out tonight as it's the site handover and my leaving drinks combined, so need to make sure I have some money on me.

Tomorrow the project manager has said he's taking me for breakfast...will probably be needed lol :rotfl:

Another estate agent is due tonight, so house has had a quick tidy up.

Pay day tomorrow too, DH is due some commission, so can figure out what goes where with it.

Need to pay the gas and electric bills too and look at changing them over.

    Have a great day :)
