Morning,
Very quiet here on site, so thought I'd update my diary while I can.
Aiming for a NSD today, brought my lunch with me, left over HM beef and ale pie and associated veggies
Still no contract, I think I will give them until Wednesday and then I'll dig out the guys number and find out what's happening with it? I'm getting a bit worried now as I have to give them a weeks notice where I am.
Had a busy weekend, but managed to get a fair few bits done and dusted. DS and DD both had parades in separate areas, so it was a rush to drop them both off, both did really well so good day all round yesterday.
Going to try for at least 4 NSD's this week, will be good if I could get 5 but we'll see. I do need to buy MIL a birthday card, I have a voucher already stashed but apart from that and top up shop which are part of my budget, I shouldn't spend a lot this week.
DD has a mufti day on Friday and has to bring in a bottle for the Christmas fair, we are going to declutter and she will take in a couple of bottles that neither DH or I will drink, so no money spent that day0 -
Good planning with the decluttering of bottles to save on spending.
I'd be going mad by now waiting for that written offer - patience is definitely not one of my strong points, so I totally feel your frustration. I presume either it's stuck in the postal system somewhere, or they've just been slow sending it out for some reason. Annoying, though!
Glad to hear your DS & DD both participated in parades yesterday too. Such a good thing for kids to do.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

So I have just done a re-read of my old diaries again, it has struck me just how much I have lost my direction in such a short space of time. That probably explains why we ended up back in the same position regardless of the consolidation.
I used to be so much more organised and in control, instead we've gone back to where we were right at the very beginning 9 years ago.
We both earn a reasonable salary and we both should be able to have proper control over the money instead of frittering it away.
I think it's good to re-read things, especially so I can make changes and move forward, some of the old me is here, just need to find her.0 -

I can relate to this completely. I get all excited about changing, don't have a plan, lose my way, realise I'm lost, decide to take back control, get all excited about changing, don't have a plan, lose my way...
I finally realised I need to have and stick to a plan if I am ever going to make progress in any area of my life. I don't know how many times I've started over, but I am determined that this time it will stick, so this time I am making a plan!
Fingers crossed that your contract arrives soon!0 -

:rotfl: I'm fairly sure I'm old enough to be your mother, so probably not.
Do you have a plan this time? I am still in the planning stages of planning my plan.0 -

Lol, you can be my slightly older twin :rotfl:::rotfl:
Plan....that's erm, a working projectI do need to get something together, the vast amount of 'plans' I have had in the past haven't amounted to much, if they had, we'd have moved house by now.
