Woo goo Friday today, very tired today too.
Off to visit another site today to help one of the other project managers, the downside is that it's at Canary Wharf, so a job in itself to get there, then back over to my site later this afternoon.
DS has officially signed up to cadets, so pleased he's got another interest.
DD has a birthday swim/party to go to tomorrow, so need to get a card & present in the morning.
Got lots to do tomorrow too.0 -
MBNA have finally caught up and the minimum payment is showing online, as its after payday, I can pay another lump sum off it.0

HI PM, sounds like a lot has been going on and it gets a bit overwhelming at times. Your goals for next year look great, I'm sure you'll be able to break them down into manageable chunks and be successful.
Fingers crossed the job situation works itself out, great news that ds is going to cadets so many benefits for youngsters.

Evening
Hi Huggle so nice to see you back, soooo much has gone on I think i could write a book lol
Lots of positivity thrown my way today from both Project Managers regarding what I've done in the two weeks I've been temping for them....on the upside, DH spoke to one of the directors of said sister company, who is hopefully looking in to me joining permanently.
Director of company said to DH 'may be we do need a DC? Hmm, leave it with me'...read in to that what you will. Up shot is....I have very little confidence in myself or my ability to do my job, BUT I must be doing something? Right or wrong, so watch this space!!
So, I think my post a few back was to stop moping or moaning? And I mean it, it's easy for me to get down hearted about things (I'm quite good about overthinking things) but I can't do anything at 1am onwards, when everyone but my brain is asleep :cool:0 -
Evening,
Woke up today with the start of a crappy cold, DS had a slight one during the week and I think he's given it to meso I'm now tucked up in bed with a lemsip and water, my iPad and my book. Not good, I do not have time to be ill !!!!!!!!!
As a consequence not a lot of productivity was done today, washing up and some washing, collected DH's prescriptions and some other errands.
I have however, had a serious think about our various savings accounts and have put on my spreadsheet which ones they are, what they are for etc and how much is in each account. I wasn't too happy that one of them had closed my account and not told me (naughty!), so I've had to apply for a new savings account with them.
I'm also thinking about moving any interest accumulated over to the highest account? I know, small steps don't run before I can walk but thinking long term.
DH is due some commission in November, it should be a fairly substantial amount, so I have told him one part in the savings, one part off the CC and the other bit spread over the bills.0 -

Morning,
Still feeling crap but got lots to do that I didn't do yesterday.
Need to check the quote for DH's car insurance, current one refuses to budge any lower than £150.
Will go through the rest of the finances and see where we stand for the next two weeks.
Back later0 -
Hope you feel better PMO20

Food shopping done, DD spent some of her money on CIN Blush bear that you can colour the t-shirt on.
Filled the car up with diesel, so hoping it'll last a bit.
Off to Dorking shortly as DS needs a new wheel for his scooter, as good as the local skatepark are, nothing out of there seems to last and costs a bomb...this place we go to in Dorking are helpful and friendly and their stuff lasts and doesn't cost the earth.
Ironing to finish, DH did some whilst we were out and did the washing up. The lounge is tidy and been hoovered too, by him and DS and dinner to make.0 -
Quite a spendy month this month, but sometimes that's how it goes and in the long run, it'll work in our favour.
Changed DH's car insurance over, he just needs to cancel the old one from renewal, did it via Quidco so £2.20 to come from them. I'd rather pay £76.83pmas opposed to £118.45  I often forget about Quidco, I think I need to start using them more often.
I forgot to mention earlier that when I went food shopping I won 2000 points from Sainsbury'snot had that before and I also got some useful vouchers for a change.
