    No not at all. I'm 40 in a few months, partner is 37 and we're JUST getting on the ladder. In the process of buying now and I kind of wish I had stayed in rental, it's so stressful, lol.

    Don't worry about anyone else! I know people who are in their mid 30s who still live at home with their folks because they are saving up. In fact, most of my friends are renting and they are in their mid 30s.

    I think it's just how it is these days. Houses are so expensive and it's very difficult to get on the ladder. We saved for years to get our deposit and have had to accept a gift for our stamp duty (seriously, 12K??). Good luck! You'll get there soon!
