Anyone have a Vaillant boiler?

in In my home (includes DIY) MoneySaving
After having a new cylinder installed by B G I cannot get my boiler to heat the water to a decent temperature. I have the manual but it does not tell you how to raise the boiler temperature. Don't really want to call B G back for this, if anyone could help. Thanks.

    I thought the cylinder was separate and apart from the boiler? I'm sure someone will know.

    Vaillant have made hundreds of different boilers over the years, a model number would help.

    You've probably checked already but is the cylinder thermostat set to 60 degrees or higher?

    Sorry, it's a Vaillant Thermocompact. The cylinder is set at about 55.

    What's the two temperature dials on the boiler set at ?

    There is only one dial. The water has not been on this morning and is currently reading 22 degrees.

    Just phone Vaillant. There customer service is great last time I had an issue.
