    Yep - it's this one
    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5441979

    And from the T&C's
    On-air stage
Successful Primary Prize Claimants will receive a phone call from Key 103 during the Competition Contesting Dates. To become a potential Prize Winner, a Primary Prize Claimant must answer the telephone call and participate on-air. The Primary Prize Claimant will only become the winner if their claim to the prize isn’t disputed by a random ‘Additional Prize Claimant’ caller within a 60 second period. If a random ‘Additional Prize Claimant’ caller makes it on-air, and is announced as successful, within the 60 second time period (as announced on-air), then they will instead become the winner of the prize that the Primary Prize Claimant had originally requested.
The successful ‘Additional Prize Claimant’ will be the first person to call within the 60 second time period to claim the prize. Additional Callers that don’t wish to claim the prize or who are inaudible, offensive or inappropriate on-air will be disqualified and removed from being on-air as soon as practically possible.

    Ah, thanks DynasticDux

    I didn't enter it

So, for example if i wanted to win a tv and no one called in within 60 secs, i would of won the tv?

So it's about staying on the line for 60 seconds, not about why you want the prize?

I just read the article and it seems like the original caller says why they want/deserve the prize and then the line is opened up for someone to steal it.. so therefore someone else could call and say they want it and they would get the prize.. in that sense it makes more sense to call then than it does to call as the original caller.. your odds are better in getting the prize... the original caller is relying on all of the other listeners not to be 'heartless'..

Competitions like that don't sit well with me, the whole emotional "why I should win" thing is either just exploiting people in a desperate situation or encouraging people to exaggerate/lie to win..

I very much doubt that they will run a similar competition again...

That is the worst kind of 'car crash radio', reminds me of all the hideous day time tv shows I loathe. Yuk yuk yuk
