Help please with Inheritance Tax Form and PA1

Hi all, I lost my mum on 5th July, and I am now trying to sort probate out. My first question is, where do I need to go to 'swear an oath'. Can I just find a local Probate Office to me and book an appointment for this? Secondly, on the the Inheritance Tax form, it asks if my mum gave any gifts over £3k in the 7 years…

The banks will give you bank statements once you have registered the death with them. Any large round number payments should be obvious.
