Hi! I am hoping someone could help me...
I got a car on finance two months ago, a DS3. Within the first two weeks the driving seat mechanism had broken and wouldn't lock into place leaving the car unusable for a week. Citroen replaced both of the seat mechanisms which was fine as they assured me that would be that and it wouldn't happen again.
A month later there was a loud ticking noise coming from the engine, my cousin (a mechanic) said that it was a lazy piston or something; again it went back to Citroen, who couldn't diagnose a fault!
Today the passenger seat mechanism has broken again!! I am getting seriously worried, when the 12 months guarantee is up, I will then have to pay the finance and if the seat or engine problem continue I will have to pay for them repairs.
I have spoken to the finance company, but while Citroen are repairing the car I can't do anything!! Surely there must be a way to just give them the car back before I end up in a lot of debt for an unusable car

Best to send a LBA to the finance company and ask to reject the car. You should get a loan car. But I would give them one more chance to repair, make sure you CC in the dealer and get it all logged.0
