Room finder?

Hi.
I know it's very last minute and it's also peak season. But I'm trying to find a single room/bed for this coming weekend in Blackpool (max budget £60 a night). Surely the whole place hasn't completely sold out?
It's driving me nuts. I've been putting my dates in on a few search sites - then when I actually click on the hotel/b&B/guest house it says 'not available on your dates'. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Rant over!:)
Could anyone recommend a good room search that searches available dates across all the various accommodations - hotel, guest house, b and b etc?
Or maybe you're from that area and can recommend somewhere?? As I heard many of the smaller family run places might not even be on the internet.
Many thanks.

If everywhere is showing full, I tend to sit down with a big mug of tea and start calling the hotels directChange is inevitable, except from a vending machine.0

Is there a local tourist office that books accommodation ? These used to exist and were staffed by local people who knew the hotel and B&B owners and knew who to contact for short notice rooms.
I'd check that out first on google then call them.0 -

the problems will be supply and demand for your budget. Prices often increase during peak times leaving very few places in the "max £60 a night" category and lots of people wanting to book at this price point. You are also looking pretty much last minute
Doubling the budget gives you the choice of 3 or 4 places0 -

I've used this site literally hundreds of times in a professional and personal capacity, when I needed to find 'a needle in a hay stack, including establishments that don't have websites.Could anyone recommend a good room search that searches available dates across all the various accommodations - hotel, guest house, b and b etc?

One word of caution, please cut and paste this link as one 'h' less takes you to somewhere completely different, as a colleague found out.
Edit: Just noticed it's Blackpool Air Show, Lytham Festival and Rebellion Punk Festival this weekend, so that would account for rooms being very limited in your price range.0 -

interesting site (I will bookmark) there is 1 room at St Kilda hotel £100 for 2 nights including breakfast showing
that is the only one showing available within OP budget...guess it will disappear fast0 -

Didn't realise it was still going, used it regularly a decade ago or more and, as you say, seems to wheedle out those smaller and unusual establishments that don't have their own websites or presence.0 -
