Fraudulent default notice

My online banking was compromised in December last year and as a result applications were made to three payday loan companies (luckily they weren't approved). I spoke to the three companies and experian who agreed the activity was fraudulent and removed the searches from my credit file. The matter was reported to the bank who refunded all monies take and I actually switched banks. I reported it to action fraud and registered with CIFAS.
I thought it was all sorted until three weeks ago when I received a default notice for a credit agreement which was set up on the day my online banking was compromised. I have reported this to the credit company and sent them all of the correspondence from the bank and payday loan companies and after investigating twice they still don't accept that it was fraud as they're failing to accept that all of my bank account details were taken.
I have asked them again to investigate (currently ongoing) but I don't hold much hope.
What is my next course of action as I really don't want to pay something that isn't my debt yet I don't want the black mark for the default on my credit score or address - help?!

Make a formal complaint to thme that stating that unless they accept it as fraud and remove any adverse information from your credit files, you will be taking them to the FOS for redress and reporting their recording of false information to the ICO.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

It won't affect your score (if only lenders could see it ) nor your address.0
