Hiya there! I have been an avid reader of this site for the last 4 weeks or so and have learned more than I could have ever imagined! Thanx to all of you!
I am in the process of sorting out my partner's finances and just realised that when he last remortgaged 2 years ago he kept his mortgage payment protection insurance as well as adding a new one for the new mortgage! I know this is a desperate try but does anyone think that there is any chance of getting some of the overpaid money back or shall i just forget about it and cut my losses?
Thanks a lot for your time - you can tell I have a lot to learn!

contact both giving proof of each others policies and they should agree between them to refund premiums of one or 50/50. It depends on the insurance companies as to what they will agree between them and have known it be either way.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
