Lets assume for a minute that he doesn't remove anything like most normal law abiding citizens . . .
He would simply be sending them a copy of his report that they could fact check with their own screens and see that maybe they've made an error and overturn the result ?
If he's just asking for normal banking facilities it would be a shame to let that credit check go to waste ?
I don't see why they would need to compare his credit report against what they see on their system. Simply asking a for them to review it again will be the best bet.
Also if he sends his credit report to them then they will be able to see the names of all the companies who he has credit with and all the searches that have been made for identity verification etc. So he will be giving them a lot more information than they have access which they may see as a negative against him.0 -
No, that's pointless.
He can certainly appeal but the bank will only use their own sources, unless you think maybe his mum could write him a note?
Banks can and do take references, so I'm not sure what you mean there, obviously not from his mother.
And the credit file is more just to show that he has looked at his information and can see there is nothing untoward there, thus helping them to possibly recheck their decision ?I don't see why they would need to compare his credit report against what they see on their system. Answered your first comment in the above response.
As for your second response, I never thought about that, good point, if there was untoward data there that they couldn't see, then this would be giving them more than they needed, so point taken. If the credit file was spotless though, it could work in his favour. Thanks

We've explained the issues with your suggestions, banks don't work like you think they do, following your suggestions would be useless at best, and harmful at worst.0 -

Understood, presumably you know something I don't so I'll defer to your greater knowledge on the situation. Thanks
