Unlock/extract data from iphone 6

Hi, very sadly my brother was found dead at his home this morning, and we currently have no idea how and when exactly he died, and we hoped that with the use of his phone we could try and piece together some information. Unfortunately the phone is locked with a 6 digit code....is there any way of being able to get into the phone or extract any data on it?? Thanks for any help

Not a chance , even the FBI failed in the USA, they finally got help from an Israel company

I assume you tried DOB as 6 digits

Thanks.....yes we tried that and I figured as much tbh...the phone now locks me out for 15 minutes after a wrong guess, this has increased from a minute....do you know how long until it locks me out completely?

A date of when he met a partner (if he had 1)
DOB of a sister he got in with (maybe yourself)

Note that when you set up your passcode, there is an option to erase data after too many failed attempts. If you have this option selected, your phone will erase all the data after 10 failed passcode attempts. Once this data is erased, it's gone

Would you have any more luck guessing his iCloud login? If he has a computer, it may have cached the username and password.

Very sorry for your loss.
Unfortunately you have zero chance of accessing the phone without the passcode.
It is technically possible at state level for an iphone 5 but not a 6


10 failed attempts and the data is gone forever

Another avenue is the network provider.
If the police ask them then they will reveal any texts/calls made to and from the phone.
But the data on the phone its self (pictures/vids etc) are lost forever

If you are after the photos and videos try plugging it into a pc, depending on the settings it may pop up as another drive even if it is locked.
