Dubai trip planning help

Hey Guy's

Quick question on a trip to Dubai I'm planning or me and my wife.
We're planning on flying out of Glasgow on Emirates on Monday 24th October which is due to land in Dubai at 00.25 on Tuesday 25th
We were planning on staying at the rove hotel in downtown Dubai for 3 nights with Tuesday being the 1st night.
My problem is with the time that we land do you think the hotel will let us check in really early like 2am or would it be easier just to book the Monday night as well then check in when we land so as we can grab some sleep then have 3 full days of exploring.
Has anyone done something similar or stayed at the rove hotel

Thanks for taking the time to read

Stephen

I would book the Monday night if you know you will want access to a room before checkin time (generally 2-3pm)
I regularly see early arrivers being offered baggage storage but no room as the hotel needs to wait for others to check out and fix the rooms

A 2am hotel check-in will normally need that night's stay to be paid for.

(Does Dubai have three days' worth of 'exploring'..?)
    Evolution, not revolution

Yes you would need to book the night before. Doesn't make sense not to!

Yes book the extra night as others have said, but before you do so contact the hotel and ensure they will hold the room until your ETA and not treat your booking as a "no show". Probably best by email and take a copy of the response with you.

Get a room Monday night, you'll be glad you did. Dubai's not great fun overnight stinking hot and needing a shower, with loads of luggage and overtired - get to the hotel, freshen up and sleep.

Whilst taxis in Dubai are dirt cheap, even from the airport, you might ask the hotel to arrange a transfer for you so you get a gentle break into the otherworldliness

Definitely. There's a lot more to Dubai [and Deira] than big resort hotels and their beaches...

Many visitors don't look any further that their hotel and beach, but a bit of preparation, and there's some fascinating atmospheric places to nosy around, particularly in the Dubai Creek area.

If you haven't already booked the flight why not do the evening flight from Glasgow arriving Dubai early morning?

There's always a chance of early check in from maybe 8/9am if the room is available but asking for a 2am check in wouldn't be possible I'd imagine.

Agree. My favourite part of Dubai is around the Creek area. So much going on

You can even walk under the Creek from Dubai to Deira, but jumping on an abra is more fun.
