recommend a refurbished business laptop

Options
Hi,
am after purchasing a used/refurbished business laptop type laptop ( am fed up of flimsy build quality of consumer laptops) such as dell or lenovo .Have been looking at websites such as tieroneonline and newandusedlaptops4u and aiming to spend no more than £250.
Anyone gone down this route or can recommend a laptop?

Thanks, was looking at t410 and possibly t430's if price is right, any particular model should I look at which doesn't get too hotquickly or have fan problems and can be upgraded such as easy swap to an additional?

GF has a T410, I have a T420, they're solid machines and if anything like my two previous T41's from 2004 (one of which is still in use for my CCTV), they should be a breeze to upgrade/repair.

They have an ultrabay, which is where the DVD drive sits, this can be upgraded to carry another HDD, mine runs as a home server, so it has this upgrade with a 1TB drive + another two external HDDs.

All the mains vents on the T400 series are on the sides and rear, they do run warm around 50c at idle. I do run mine on a docking station (£25 on eBay) and this almost certainly helps keeping it cool.

There was a recall on the T400 series for battery a safety issue, but if you buy one there is a tool you can download from Lenovo to check your battery and if it is affected you can get a free replacement.

For a solid laptop built like a tank the Lenovo Thinkpad X230 are good. Refurbished ones from here £220 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lenovo-Thinkpad-X230-Laptop-Core-i7-3520M-2-90GHz-4GB-Ram-320GB-HDD-Warranty-/322208452421?hash=item4b051ecf45

I'd get 8 GB memory and enough hard disk for your needs...
    Macs are good too.

Leave enough in the budget for an SSD drive. Then the thing should be shock proof and quick.
